Hurricane Irma Update

As ISCF monitors Hurricane Irma's path, there is a strong possibility it will affect Central Florida in a severe way.  ISCF will have three locations where the community can take shelter.  

This includes the MECCA Center (Goldenrod), Masjid Al-Rahim (Pine Hills) and Masjid Al-Aziz (South Orlando).  The shelters will be open starting on Saturday at 9am.  

Please bring the following to the Shelter for your personal use:
Your own sleeping bag
Hygiene products
Medicine
Food and water
If you have children, please bring toys and coloring books

We are requesting the following for our shelter preparations:

DONATED ITEMS REQUESTED and Can be dropped off at Jummah prayer on Friday:

Water
Tuna
Canned food
Can openers
Granola Bars
Portable stove
Bring empty water storage containers to donate
Batteries
Flash lights
Candles
Tarps
Blankets

Pick up sand bags and bring some to the Masjid at the following locations:

ISCF will open MECCA HALL as Hurricane Shelter

If you live in a manufactured home, a trailer home or other unsafe structure, please come to the shelter inside the LPS building 1021 N. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. The Shelter will accept families starting 9am on Saturday, and will be available until Monday.
